Our Story
Life in Africa has improved in many areas through better education, health, and technology. Yet North Alego in Siaya County faces serious challenges. Our community of 50,000 people has only one healthcare facility, limited secondary schools, and poor infrastructure.
Girls often drop out due to pregnancy and long travel distances. Families cannot afford quality schools because of low incomes. The area lacks running water, suffers from waterborne diseases, and experiences food shortages from poor soil.
Nopar Foundation believes our community can solve these problems together. We focus on health, education, livelihoods, and climate action. By combining local knowledge with partnerships, we create solutions that other communities can use. Our community-driven approach addresses local needs with solutions created by us, for us.
